Erie Gives Day

For more than a decade, Erie Gives has brought our community together to support the nonprofits that make Erie County stronger.

Erie Gives will be held August 11, 2026, and we're excited to once again celebrate the power of collective giving and the incredible impact that happens when our community comes together to support the Hagen History Center.

Important Reminders

• Checks MUST BE made payable to The Erie Community Foundation.
• Completed check contribution forms and payments must be received by Tuesday, August 4. 
• For the fastest and easiest giving experience, we encourage donors to make their gift online at ErieGives.org on Tues., August 11.
• All platform and credit card fees are covered by The Erie Community Foundation and our Bonus Bucks sponsors, meaning 100% of your gift goes directly to the Hagen History Center.
• If you choose to give by check, please review all instructions carefully and submit your completed form and payment by Tuesday, August 4 deadline.

There are several ways to give.

• In Person: Please bring your check and the completed Check Donation Form to The Erie Community Foundation at 459 West 6th Street, before August 4, 2026. Make sure to write a single check for the total amount payable to “The Erie Community Foundation,” and the Foundation will distribute your gift. Please note: If you give by check, there are no fees to the History Center.
• By Mail: You can mail your check to 459 West 6th Street, but the Erie Community Foundation must receive your gift by August 4, 2026. Complete the Check Donation Form indicating  the nonprofit you want to support and the donation amount. Make check payable to “The Erie Community Foundation,” and the Foundation will distribute your gift. Mail your check and the completed Check Donation Form to The Erie Community Foundation, 459 West 6th Street, Erie, PA 16507.
• Online: Visit ErieGives.org and donate. Gifts will be accepted on August 11, 2026, beginning at midnight! Online donations can be made via credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa. Minimum donation of $25 required.
• By Phone: Call The Erie Community Foundation at (814) 454-0843. Their friendly staff will answer the phone lines from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on August 11, 2026. Donations can be made by phone using your credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa. Minimum donation of $25 required.
• Gift of Stock or IRA via Mail: Talk to your professional advisor or banker who can help you. The deadline to initiate the transfer of stock or IRA distribution with your custodian directed to The Erie Community Foundation is Monday, August 3, 2026. Complete the Check Donation Form indicating the organization(s) and donation amount(s). Mail check and completed form to The Erie Community Foundation, 459 West 6th Street, Erie, PA 16507. The transfer of stock or distribution from your IRA should match the total amount you indicate on your mail-in form.
