"I have always loved history and as a young girl I used to spend many hours on Saturday mornings roaming around the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. When I moved to Erie in the late  60s, I got involved as a docent at the Erie museum doing lectures on the native Americans that populated this region and others. I have always felt it was so important to have a place in any community to highlight the  history of the region in a meaningful and interesting way  for all generations and our  museum does just that. We are so lucky to have a museum of such high quality and staff that is second to none. I am very proud to be a member and to help keep this vital part of our community alive and well for generations to come."
